Welcome to Snowflakes Comer Crescent

Just behind Ealing Hospital, and before Three Bridges off Windmill Avenue, our Comer Crescent nursery has become a cornerstone for local families. After nearly a decade here, we're the trusted choice for parents from Southall, Hanwell and up to West Ealing who want more than basic childcare. Many of our commuting parents travel through Windmill Lane from Isleworth for us.

This exceptional setting, combined with our highly organised approach to the Early Years Framework with Montessori principles, attracts families from Yeading, Greenford, and as far as Gerrards Cross. They choose us for the carefully planned developmental activities that turn each day into an adventure and for the expertise of our team, who ensure every child gains vital skills for school and life.

What Makes Comer Crescent Special

Step through our doors during the morning work cycle and you'll see focused learning in action. Three-year-olds absorbed in practical numeracy & maths with golden beads, toddlers developing coordination, carefully pouring water between jugs, babies reaching for treasure baskets while their dedicated Key Worker extends their exploration.

Our secure outdoor learning spaces transform throughout the day. Morning sees focused garden activities—planting, watering, observing growth as part of our outdoor learning & play program. The afternoon brings energetic sessions for physical development & coordination. Children hunting for bugs aren't just playing; they're developing the scientific thinking that serves them throughout school.

How to get to us

The location works perfectly for busy families. Walking distance from Ealing Hospital (perfect for NHS parents), convenient for those commuting through Hanwell station, West Ealing and anyone driving to the A4 on their commute, not to mention our excellent bus connections (routes E3, 207, 427). Parents build the nursery run into their daily routine without stress.

How We Support Individual Development

What truly sets us apart is our sophisticated educational approach. It takes attention from our thoughtfully selected team of Early Years Educators and managers to work, but the results are noticeable.

Initial Assessment & Planning

Within two weeks of joining, your child's dedicated Key Worker explores all seven areas of development through play, creating a baseline that informs their personal learning pathway.

Weekly Curriculum Planning

Our team meets weekly, ensuring individualised progression within our 52-week curriculum. During morning work cycles, children engage in purposeful activities matched to their exact developmental stage. Early years phonics & literacy happen daily through songs, stories, and sandpaper letters, while practical numeracy & maths emerge naturally through cooking, construction, and creative play.

Interest-Led Learning

This means a child interested in doctors might explore counting medical supplies, practice writing prescriptions in role play, and develop social & emotional development through hospital scenarios. Your child's fascinations become comprehensive learning opportunities across all areas.

Real Outcomes Parents Value

We track progress systematically through daily progress journals & app updates and share it. Parents receive clear updates showing both what your child has mastered and what we're working on next. Our termly parent-teacher meetings provide deeper insights into your child's journey, creating a genuine partnership focused on their success.

Preparing Children for Leading Local Schools

By the time children leave us for Reception at school, most are reading independently. But just as significantly, they've developed the learning behaviours that matter: persisting through challenges by evaluating with critical thinking, and helping others without being asked.

We have a proud track record of preparing children for a successful transition to a wide range of local primary schools, including Oaklands Primary, St Mark's, Hobbayne Primary, Havelock and Fielding Primary, to name a few. Local primary schools consistently report that our graduates arrive with superior concentration, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.
