Welcome To Snowflakes
Grand Union Village

At our Grand Union Village nursery, children thrive in our unique canal-side community just a short walk from the Grand Union Canal towpath. Our peaceful, modern development offers a calm, green environment for children to grow and explore. Our Ofsted-registered waterside nursery welcomes children from 6 months to 5 years.

This exceptional setting, combined with our highly organised approach to an enhanced EYFS with Montessori principles, attracts families from Yeading, Greenford, and as far as Gerrards Cross. They choose us for the carefully planned developmental activities that turn each day into an adventure and for the expertise of our team, who ensure every child gains vital skills for school and life.

Our Environment

Our purpose-built nursery takes advantage of its secure outdoor learning spaces to create an unparalleled learning experience. Our regular adventures along the Grand Union Canal towpath become real-world science lessons where children see the trees change season, count the ducks, and discuss how boats float.

This direct connection to the peaceful, natural environment helps children develop remarkable focus, something parents and teachers consistently notice.

Our Personalised Learning Approach

What truly sets us apart is our hybrid approach to learning. We call it "early education", a child-led Montessori approach with the structure of the Early Years Foundational Framework.

It requires attention from our thoughtfully selected team of Early Years Educators and managers to work, and the results are noticeable.

Individual Developement Tracking

Within two weeks of joining, your child's dedicated key person will have explored all seven areas of development through play and created a personal learning pathway specific to them. Parents get daily updates along the way.

Weekly Curriculum Planning

Your child plans weekly, creating individualised activities within our 52-week curriculum. During morning work cycles, children aren't just playing—they're engaged in carefully selected activities matched to their developmental needs.

Interest-Led Learning

This means a toddler fascinated by boats might count canal barges for maths, practice boat vocabulary for literacy, and develop coordination through water play activities. Your child's interests drive comprehensive development. Learn more about our personalised learning approach.

Real Outcomes Parents Value

Children who attend Grand Union Village develop intense concentration and a natural curiosity about the world around them. By the time they leave for Reception, most are reading independently. Beyond academics, they develop the learning behaviours that matter: they organise their thinking, persist through challenges, and help others without being asked.

We track each child's progress carefully, and our regular updates via our parent app show you precisely what your child has mastered. You always know what their day entails. It's a true partnership.
